Need to change your slide dimensions for a different screen or print format? Here's how to resize slides in Google Slides.
Step 1: Open Page Setup
Open your Google Slides presentation. In the top menu, click on File and then select Page setup at the bottom of the dropdown.
Step 2: Choose a Size
A dialog box will appear. Click the dropdown menu that usually says "Widescreen 16:9". You can choose from:
- Standard 4:3 - Good for older projectors.
- Widescreen 16:9 - The default for modern screens.
- Widescreen 16:10 - Another common widescreen format.
- Custom - To enter specific dimensions.
Step 3: Enter Custom Dimensions (Optional)
If you selected "Custom", enter your desired width and height. You can choose Inches, Centimeters, Points, or Pixels as the unit.
Step 4: Apply Changes
Click Apply. Your slides will be resized. Note that you might need to adjust the position of some elements if the aspect ratio changes significantly.
