How to Share PowerPoint Presentations Online

In today's remote-first world, sharing presentations seamlessly is crucial. Learn the best ways to share your PowerPoint slides with colleagues and clients online.

Ways to Share PowerPoint Online

There are several effective methods to share your PowerPoint presentations, depending on your needs for collaboration and security:

  1. OneDrive Sharing

Upload your presentation to OneDrive. Right-click the file and select "Share". You can generate a link or send an email invitation. This allows real-time collaboration if you allow editing.

  2. PowerPoint Online

Use the web version of PowerPoint (office.com). Open your presentation there and click the "Share" button in the top-right corner. This is perfect for quick edits and sharing without opening the desktop app.

  3. Email Attachment

The classic method. Save your file and attach it to an email. Best for final versions where no collaboration is needed, but beware of large file sizes.

  4. Google Drive / Google Slides

Upload your .pptx file to Google Drive. You can share it as a file, or open it in Google Slides to convert it and collaborate using Google's tools.

  5. Export to PDF

If you want to ensure the formatting doesn't change and the recipient doesn't need to edit, export your slides to PDF before sharing. Use our Slides to PDF tool for this.

Sharing online makes collaboration and remote presentations easy. Choose the method that best fits your workflow!
